Pool Time

My day off consisted of this :

Which brings up the topic of swimsuits! Now that I live in Florida I need to seriously bulk up my swimsuit collection. Swimsuits are one thing I don't like to spend a lot of money on because they always end up faded and pilled by the end of the summer. Target has the perfect solution with their cute but oh so inexpensive suits! I recently bought (and am wearing in this photo) this suit!

Spring Shopping

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! I know I did! Even though I did have to work I didn't let that spoil the fun! Last Thursday I did some spring shopping! I'm so excited for these spring styles which are more suited for this Florida weather! Here's a recap of the pieces I added to my wardrobe!

3" Chino short- I just loved this color! They had so many I wanted them all!

Vintage Cotton Tank- I got this in a mint color and in white, they look great layered with the shorts above!

I thought this top would be cute with dark denim for a night out or with a cardi for work!

I had to add this color to my closet!

I also bought a couple tees and a cute pair of earrings at Loft but I'm running out of room here!

Weekend recap time!

The fam and I drove up to Tampa to visit my sister!

Spent the afternoon at the Florida Aquarium.

Wanted to hop aboard!

Today we spent the afternoon at a picnic for my sister's sorority then headed back home!

I spent this lovely lazy Sunday watching the Sex and the City movie which never gets old!

Tomorrow I'm going to help my mom pick out some things for the house my parents are building. Should be fun!

Friday Five

 Sorry that I haven't posted in a while! Last night we took my sister to see Jersey Boys for her birthday! It's the second time I've seen the musical and I would see it a hundred times more...yes it's that good!

Friday Five

1. I got this perfume last month and love it's fresh. light floral scent!

2. I just bought this yoga mat at the Vera Bradley outlet, hoping to get to a yoga class soon!

3. I use the Mary Kay Timewise Miracle Set day and night. I refuse to get wrinkles!

4. The Vow opens today! I want to see this movie soon!

 

5. These are my favorite breakfast bars! Of course I stocked up while I was at Target yesterday!

I Heart Target

Hey everyone!
 Have you ever gone to Target for something specific but end up spending an hour there and end up with a basket full of stuff!? This place seriously has some kind of magic spell it puts over you!
 Prime example was today when I went to get floss and $80 later I end up with all of this!

I just got lost in the aisles of goodies! I could not pass up the Jason Wu shirt which was the only piece of the collection left in the store and it just happened to be my size!
I've also been hearing a lot about the Revlon lip butter lipstick and the Maybelline Baby Lips balm so I had to get some to try.

Target, what is your secret?
